Happy Ramadan everyone! I personally am not Muslim but I plan on converting one day when I feel I have researched Islam throughly and read the Quran several times.

Usually when most people find out I'm interested and open to converting they assume I want to for my boyfriend. Now granted if it were'nt for him I would have probably never taken an interest in his culture or religion but he has opened my eyes to a lot of new things and for that I am grateful.

I know better then to convert just to be accpeted by his family or friends. Religion isn't something to be taken lightly or as a fad. That is a crucial factor when dating someone from a diffrent culture.
